1. Licensor and seller
Klug Home Solutions, [email protected] ("Klug"), is the licensor of the products. Orders are sold and processed through Link (Stripe) as the merchant of record, which handles payment, taxes and invoices. The products are sold to businesses and developers.
2. Products and plans
Klug sells yearly licences for its native extensions for Adobe AIR ("extensions") and for the Klug Streaming Server ("server software"). Each licence is available as Basic (no support), Standard (support answered within 7 days) or Priority (support answered within 48 hours). Prices are shown on the pricing page in euros; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout.
3. Licence
- An extension licence allows you to use the extension in one AIR application, identified by its application ID, and to distribute that application to its users.
- A server licence allows you to install and run the server software on one server.
- The licence is non-exclusive and non-transferable. You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the extension or the server software on its own or as part of another library, SDK or development tool.
- You may not decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer the products, except where the law expressly allows it.
- Klug keeps all rights, title and intellectual property in the products.
4. Term, renewal and cancellation
Each licence runs for 12 months and renews automatically every year at the then current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time before the renewal date by e-mail to [email protected] or through the link in your Stripe receipt. After the licence ends you may keep using and distributing the versions you received; updates and support end.
5. Delivery and updates
After payment Klug sends the product (extension files, ActionScript library and documentation, or the server installation kit) to the e-mail address used at checkout, usually within one business day. During the licence term you receive all updates of the purchased product.
6. Support
Standard and Priority include support by e-mail to [email protected] about the installation and use of the purchased product. Klug answers within 7 days (Standard) or 48 hours (Priority). Support does not include developing features for your application; such work can be offered separately.
7. Payment and invoices
Payments are processed by Link (Stripe) as the merchant of record. You receive a receipt and an invoice by e-mail. Prices are in euros; bank or card charges in your country may apply.
8. Refunds
If a product does not work as described on a supported platform, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of the purchase by writing to [email protected]. After a refund the licence ends and the product must be removed from your applications and servers.
9. Warranty and liability
The products are provided "as is". Klug tests them in its own production apps but does not guarantee that they are free of errors or work with every device, operating system or AIR SDK version. To the extent permitted by law, Klug's total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the affected licence in the last 12 months, and Klug is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or lost data.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Germany. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country remain unaffected. The website terms of use and the privacy policy also apply.
